| Dr. Harvat received his bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1993. He attended Indiana University College of Optometry and graduated in 1998. He moved to Kansas City where he completed a one year residency at the VA hospital. For the next two years he worked in private practice at the Medford Eye Clinic and Healthview Eyecare office.
