Bryan Pauls, OD

Bryan Pauls, OD is a Therapeutic Optometrist in Burlington, KS at The EyeDoctors Optometrists' office. He grew up in a small town in Kansas, west of Wichita. He completed his undergraduate degree from Newman University in Wichita, KS, and earned his doctorate in optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Dr. Pauls completed his externships at a private practice and the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Wichita, KS.

Why Did You Become an Optometrist? Dr. Pauls remembers when he first got glasses as a child and was able to see clearly.  His experience inspired him to become an optometrist with the goal of improving the vision health and enhancing the quality of life for others.

Following graduation, for over 11 years, Dr. Pauls practiced optometry alongside ophthalmologists at a private practice in Southeast Texas providing everything from comprehensive eye exams to pre and post-operative evaluations and treatments. He was honored to be voted as one of the top 3 best optometrists in the county. In 2023, Dr. Pauls returned to his home state joining The EyeDoctors Optometrists in Burlington, KS where he looks forward to providing comprehensive eye exams and vision care to patients of all ages.

Outside of the office, Dr. Pauls enjoys exploring the outdoors with his wife and children and volunteering for their many school, sport, and church activities.
