Dr. Kimberlynn Dittemore was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She attended her parents' alma mater, the University of California, Berkeley, majoring in microbiology and immunology. Dr. Dittemore attended the Southern California College of Optometry after completing her undergraduate education.
Dr. Dittemore began her career by working in private practice in Washington state. She moved to Kansas after getting married and started working at Swope Parkway Health Center in Kansas City, Missouri. She and her husband moved to the Pacific Northwest, where she worked in southern Oregon for the last eighteen years. Dr. Dittemore returns to the Midwest to join The EyeDoctors Optometrists in Manhattan. She enjoys providing comprehensive eye care services to include contact lens fittings and dry eye management. Dr. Dittemore also sees patients for diabetic eye exams and those with a history of macular degeneration.
Dr. Dittemore enjoys reading, knitting, baking, and taking long walks with her labradoodle, Zoe. Her favorite pastime includes visiting museums and historical sites. She and her husband, Dr. Dirk Dittemore, are the parents of two adult children. Their daughter played four years for the Montana State University women's golf team and is currently working on her Ph.D. in entomology. Their son was commissioned as an officer after graduating from the United States Naval Academy and currently serves as an Aviator for the United States Navy.
